Custom made
Our custom made jackets are created to reflect your personal wishes. Most often, we work with recycled blankets, making each piece truly one of a kind. This is how Frauen began, and why tailoring a jacket to you still feels especially meaningful in a world dominated by fast fashion and mass production.
Classics
Our Classic jackets are produced in the same way as our custom made pieces, only once they have been ordered. Whenever possible, they are crafted from recycled blankets, but in some cases, we source new blankets from selected makers such as Klippan and Silkeborg Uldspinderi.

It all began by chance, when Emilie Schiøtt stumbled upon a jacket at a flea market. She refined it into a new design –
and that became the beginning of Frauen – a brand creating one-of-a-kind jackets crafted from vintage blankets.
At Frauen, every jacket carries a story. Each piece is reimagined and tailored to honor its past while offering something
truly contemporary. Produced in Denmark in collaboration with local seamstresses, the jackets embody a sustainable
approach to fashion – transforming existing materials into timeless designs.
